The SA-AR01-128 Compact Audio Recorder records audio directly to a removable microSD card for playback after recording. Measuring 2.17" x 1.18" x 0.67" and weighing approximately 0.92 ounces, it is easy to carry or position in a suitable recording location.

Choose continuous recording to capture an entire session, or use sound-activated recording with power-saving modes for longer standby operation. This model records saved audio files; it does not provide live audio listening.

A microSD card is required. Memory cards are not included and are sold separately.

Compact Audio Recording for Meetings, Interviews, and Field Notes

The recorder's small size makes it practical for documenting meetings, interviews, lectures, and spoken notes without carrying a larger recording device. It can also record activity in a home, office, shop, or warehouse where audio recording is appropriate.

The listed audio pickup range is approximately 16 to 35 feet. Recording clarity depends on the speaker's volume, microphone placement, background noise, and obstacles between the recorder and the sound source. Position it near the conversation or activity you want to capture for better results.

Continuous Recording for Complete Sessions

Continuous mode records throughout the session rather than waiting for sound to trigger recording. Use it when you need to capture a meeting, interview, class, or another defined period from beginning to end.

The supplied recording-only battery estimate is approximately 12 to 14 hours per charge. Actual runtime varies with operating conditions and settings. The previous figures that combined recording with live listening do not apply to this model's current functionality.

Sound-Activated Recording with Power-Saving Modes

Sound-activated recording starts when the recorder detects audio, reducing recordings of quiet periods and helping conserve battery power and storage.

• Power-Saving Mode A: Provides a listed standby duration of up to 14 days with limited daily sound-triggered recording.
• Power-Saving Mode B: Provides a listed standby duration of up to 20 days with limited daily sound-triggered recording.

These standby estimates are based on light daily activity, approximately five activations totaling 15 minutes of use per day. They are not continuous recording times. Frequent conversations, background noise, or repeated sound triggers will shorten battery life.

Removable microSD Storage Up to 128GB

The SA-AR01-128 supports microSD cards from 8GB to 128GB. Recordings are stored on the card for later playback and file management.

The listed audio file size is approximately 1MB per minute. Available recording capacity depends on the card's usable space, recording settings, and existing files. Storage capacity and battery runtime are separate limits.

MicroSD cards are sold separately. Insert a compatible card before recording and check that the recorder saves files correctly before an important session.

Loop Recording for Ongoing Use

Loop recording allows the recorder to continue saving audio when the memory card fills by deleting the oldest files to make room for new recordings.

Copy files you want to retain before they are overwritten. A larger memory card provides more space between file transfers, but it does not prevent older recordings from being replaced once storage is full.

Rechargeable Battery and External Power Support

The recorder has an 800mAh rechargeable battery with a listed charging time of approximately three to four hours.

For longer recording periods, it can operate while connected to a compatible 5V USB charger or external power bank. External power can extend operation beyond the internal battery's runtime. The duration depends on the power source, its usable capacity, and the recorder's operating mode.

Playback and File Review After Recording

Audio is saved to the microSD card for review after recording. Transfer the saved files using the supported connection or a compatible microSD card reader, then play and organize them on your computer.

This recorder does not stream live audio. Its recording function does not require a SIM card, cellular plan, or cloud recording subscription.
